The shift pattern for this post includes day and night shifts worked from Monday to Sunday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team within Critical Care Neurosciences/OMFS at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, QEUH. The Department of Neurosurgery offers pioneering neurosurgical procedures and care as part of regional services for the West of Scotland.
Our 12-bed Critical Care Unit provides person-centered care for critically ill patients from Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. The unit has a dedicated Clinical Educator to support your skills development and career growth.
Experience in Critical Care is desirable but not essential. A post-basic critical care qualification is also desirable.
You must demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, continuing professional development, and understanding of our services and patient needs—or a willingness to learn and develop these skills.
Flexibility and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth are essential. The ability to work effectively within a team is also required.
A competency-based education program supports your development.
