Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 5 Staff Nurses for the Continuing Stroke Care Unit. You will work as part of a ward team within the Medicine & Emergency Care Division, prioritising and delivering nursing care and assessments as needed.

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals are looking for highly motivated and committed Band 5 Staff Nurses to work on the Continuing Stroke care Unit .

To work as a registered nurse within a ward team within the Medicine & Emergency Care Division.

To prioritise and deliver nursing care and assessment as needed.

We are highly focused upon your education, and we have specialist stroke training programmes available in-house as well as external courses. Commitment to undertake ongoing in-service training and development is essential. We are focused on the care that our patients receive, and that their carers are given the opportunity to be involved in a range of patient educational activities. This will be supported by the Specialist stroke team.
