Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH) is pleased to announce a vacancy for a Band 5 nurse in our children's haemodialysis unit. This is a one-year post to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a registered children's nurse with the ambition to expand their skills in this highly specialist unit.

You will work as part of a small team of nurses caring for children needing dialysis and plasma exchange.
As a registered nurse at Nottingham Children's Hospital, you are expected to maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
You will motivate colleagues, champion children's and families' safety and dignity, and drive continuous improvement.
Nottingham Children's Hospital will support you in your role and provide the relevant education, training, and support to deliver high-quality care.
Nottingham Children's Hospital is located within the vibrant city of Nottingham, known for its historical sites and lively music scene. The hospital is housed within the Queen's Medical Centre campus and has 116 inpatient beds across 8 wards covering all specialties.
The haemodialysis unit is part of the East Midlands, East of England, and South Yorkshire kidney network (EMEESY). You will work closely with the inpatient ward, a specialist nurse team, and a wider multi-professional team.
