We are recruiting for an Staff Nurse who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

We are a busy District General Hospital (DGH) serving the population of Medway and Swale and Medway was the first Trust in Kent to achieve foundation trust status in April 2008. Our children's emergency department has an annual attendance of over 30,000 babies, children and young people living locally

Our Children's nursing team is expanding, and is led by our Head of Nursing for Children and Young People, a Trust wide role to ensure children and young people receive high quality care wherever they access our services across the organisation. When you come here you will always be learning and developing your knowledge and ensuring your skills are kept fully up to date.

You will be supported by Paediatric Practice Development Nurse together with a friendly multidisciplinary team and a corporate training and development team. We have in house leadership programmes and work with a range of universities to ensure you can progress through academic pathways in order to support your career development.
