A prominent healthcare provider in Brighton is seeking Qualified Children's Nurses to join the Children's Emergency Department team. Candidates with experience in acute settings are preferred. Job summary
We are currently looking for Qualified Children's Nurses ideally with experience of working with children in a acute setting who would like to become part of the CED team.
We would also welcome applications from adult nurses ideally with ED experience who we could offer a fixed term contract.
The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital is a CQC rated 'Outstanding' regional, dedicated children's hospital located in Brighton overlooking the sea, next to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
There is a full resuscitation room, minors/majors cubicles and a four bedded observation unit. We were the first children's ED in the country to have a dedicated sensory cubicle for children with additional needs.
This is your opportunity to work within the children's emergency nursing team and continue to develop your career. You will be working in a bright purpose built children's hospital with support from the children's nursing team and paediatric consultants. The CED team has a focus on multi-disciplinary learning in the department.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, energetic children's nurses with a skill for prioritising, delivering and organising emergency patient care. You will have a proactive and positive approach, with evidence of excellent clinical, teaching , managerial and inter-personal skills to lead, work alongside and motivate our multi-disciplinary team.
