Job description

Pulse Nursing has an exciting opportunity in South London for a Mental Health Nurse to join a private mental health hospital on a permanent basis.

The hospital specializes in treating various mental health conditions, including depression, substance addiction, eating disorders, and providing inpatient and outpatient support, especially for young people.

We seek compassionate and dedicated Mental Health or Learning Disability Staff Nurses to support young individuals facing mental health challenges. These may include emotional difficulties, unhealthy behaviors, anxiety, depression, stress, and eating disorders.

About the Role

You will be an integral part of the Multi-Disciplinary team.

Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, and delivering care in collaboration with patients and their families or carers. You will act as the patient's named nurse, ensuring care respects patient preferences, and contribute to a team approach to patient care.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £34,279, depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift Pattern

You will work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months experience working in a CAMHS unit
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference
  • Current NMC or HCPC registration
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Completion of preceptorship
  • A positive attitude and commitment to quality improvement
