Job Summary
Band 5 Staff Nurse 37.5 hours per week, Beech C - fixed term for 12 months.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on Beech C; we are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and motivated team player who will work within the team providing high quality patient care.
The department specialises in gastroenterology and general medical conditions. We are a 27 bedded ward treating both male and female adult patients.
Our staff nurses provide a high quality service in a safe environment where the needs of each patient are cared for in a professional and holistic manner by using all available specialist knowledge and skills. The wellbeing of all our patients relies on appropriate and timely assessment, investigation, treatment and care.
In joining our team, you will bring your skills and passion to provide the highest quality patient-focused care and compassion for our patients. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of the wider team.
You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice within the ward area, as well as providing nursing care in accordance with local policies, procedures and guidelines and comply with NMC code of professional conduct.
Applications are invited from highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have experience of working as a student nurse or as a qualified staff nurse within the NHS or equivalent.
