Our patients undergo investigations and treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and we manage patients and families undergoing stem cell transplantation. What sets The Royal Marsden apart from other children’s centres in Europe is our status as a world leader in the number of “First in Child” clinical trials available to young cancer patients. We work closely with our specialist multi-professional drug development team to ensure patients and families have access to the latest novel agents, optimizing outcomes and creating unique learning opportunities and career development pathways in specialist cancer practice and care.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and supervise shifts, effectively communicating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients.
  2. Exercise clinical judgment and decision-making regarding patient needs, long-term goals, and plans.
  3. Participate fully in the daily organization and operation of clinical trials, including recruitment, patient education, monitoring, and liaising with trial sponsors as required.
