Come and join our nursing team in Children and Young People's Daycare and Outpatients Department!
Are you looking for the next step in your cancer nursing career? Are you a paediatric or adult-trained nurse eager to join the fantastic Children’s and Young People’s department at the Royal Marsden?
Our busy CYP Daycare and Outpatients unit sees over 6,000 patients a year, requiring systemic anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy, and supportive care, delivered by our team. The age range of our patients is 1 to 24 years old, making CYPDU a very unique unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital. If you're interested in gaining experience in cancer care delivery and SACT administration, we want to hear from you!
We seek candidates with drive and passion to bring ideas forward, lead projects to improve patient journeys, and actively participate in unit leadership. A qualification in oncology or a related specialty is essential for a Band 5 role, but we support your professional development. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and role modeling to support team development and educational placements.
