The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 5 Nurses to join their new Cancer Centre in Sutton. This role offers the chance to develop skills in cancer care, working across various clinics and assisting with diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Staff Nurse with hospital experience, dedicated to high-quality patient care.
There are many new and exciting opportunities for a Band 5 nurse within the Royal Marsden Trust. This is a great chance to develop your skills and knowledge, particularly in caring for cancer patients across all points of their cancer pathway. If you are passionate about making a real difference to patients’ experiences, understanding their anxieties, and gaining insight into cancer care, we would love to hear from you.
Our new state-of-the-art Cancer Centre in Sutton opened in July 2023. The post holder will work in this centre, including the Rapid Diagnostic Centre and Outpatients clinics.
You will work in various clinics, such as one-stop breast clinics, nurse-led wound care clinics, and assessments for pre and post-operative patients. You will assist with diagnostic and minor procedures within dermatology, plastics, sarcoma, and breast specialties.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Staff Nurse with experience in an acute hospital setting. We seek someone who is flexible, a good team player, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
