Job summary

Le South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust recherche un infirmier(ère) enregistré(e) pour un contrat de 12 mois au sein de ses unités à Aylesford et Rigby. Vous aurez l'occasion de développer vos compétences cliniques et managériales tout en offrant des soins à des patients atteints de cancer. Qualifications

• Infirmier(ère) enregistré(e) avec des compétences en communication et en travail d'équipe.
• Expérience en hématologie ou oncologie souhaitable mais pas essentielle.
• Compétences cliniques en ponction veineuse, cannulation périphérique et administration de chimiothérapie sont un plus.

Responsibilities

• Évaluer les besoins en soins, planifier, mettre en œuvre et évaluer les programmes de soins.
• Superviser le personnel junior.
• Soutenir les infirmiers seniors dans la gestion de la suite de chimiothérapie.

This post is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will work flexibly across The Aylesford Unit (on the Warwick site) and The Rigby Unit (on the Stratford site) as service needs dictate.

The posts offer an exciting opportunity to further develop your clinical and managerial skills within a supportive environment. You will care for a variety of day case patients, the majority of whom will have cancer. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Experience in haematology or oncology, along with clinical skills in venepuncture, peripheral cannulation, and chemotherapy administration, are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

You will primarily work from Monday to Friday, with potential evenings, Saturdays, and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis. Flexible team working is essential to meet service needs.

This role involves:

• Assessing care needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care programs.
• Supervising junior staff.
• Supporting senior nurses in managing the chemotherapy suite, adhering to Trust policies.
• Deputising for the Clinical Sister in her/his absence.
