Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered nurse to join SEW Ward at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford on a 10-month fixed-term basis.

The role involves inpatient care across specialties including colorectal, urology and general surgery, with learning support and development opportunities for nurses to enhance existing skills. NMC registration and acute NHS experience are preferred. Please note the role may close early due to high application numbers.

Qualificações

• NMC registered.
• Acute NHS experience from placements or NHS job (HCA/NA/TNA/etc).
• Desirable: Previous Surgical Exposure.
• Desirable: NHS clinical experience (MSE).

Responsabilidades

• Practice according to the NMC Code and Trust policies to provide safe care.
• Organise and deliver individualised patient care addressing physical, social and psychological needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and relatives and work with the MDT to ensure accurate care.
• Support the Senior Charge Nurse to maintain high standards of patient care with privacy and dignity.
• Contribute to implementing Nursing and Midwifery strategies and patient involvement initiatives.
• Ensure nursing practice reflects current clinical developments and evidence-based guidance.
• Supervise health care assistants and learners.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans.
