Are you a compassionate, newly qualified or experienced nurse looking to join a friendly and supportive team? Stanley Purser Ward, based in Swanage Community Hospital, offers the right opportunity for you.
As a Staff Nurse, you will provide care in a 15-bed nurse-led unit, with patient needs ranging from post-fracture rehabilitation, medical diagnoses and treatments, to palliative care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supported by local doctors three days a week and our Advanced Nurse Practitioner five days a week. The hospital features various departments, including Minor Injuries, Outpatients, Radiology Imaging, and Day Surgery.

You should have a caring attitude, a willingness to make a difference, and a desire to treat elderly and vulnerable people with respect. Strong teamwork, communication skills, compassion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high standards of care are essential. An interest in working with older people and good organizational skills are also important.

This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. If you subscribe to the DBS update service, you can present a valid certificate instead of a new check.
