The Staffordshire County Hospital Frailty Assessment Unit (FAU) is a bespoke 6 bedded frailty assessment unit going through an exciting period of positive development and change at the moment. We welcome motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Nurses to join our team.
We have a multidisciplinary workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care, leadership and development of the nursing team. You will be offered a period of supernumerary duty as well as training from a dedicated team and support and guidance through your initial period.
Full and part time hours are available; you will be required to work an internal rotation pattern covering a 7 day 8am-8.30pm service.
In this post you will be responsible for providing on going care of patients presenting with frailty syndromes and providing a safe, person-centred and efficient care pathway within the Frailty Assessment Unit.

Candidates ether need to be on the NMC register as an Adult or Mental Health Nurse or be due to qualify by October 2025. It is essential that applicants have spent time in an acute hospital and must be flexible to the demands of the service and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team within a large, busy and evolving department. Excellent communication skills are essential for this post.
