A Day in the Life of a Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse, you will lead the team, involved in assessments, planning, and evaluating residents’ needs and wishes:

• Providing excellent nursing care and support to residents
• Overseeing medicine management and ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
• Creating and implementing treatment plans
• Offering a safe, caring, and stable environment
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines
• Supporting the Service Manager to meet key targets by promoting high standards of nursing care and supervising staff and shifts
• Supporting, guiding, teaching, and mentoring team members
• Collaborating with the Manager to ensure smooth home operations

Requirements: Hold a current NMC registration, possess a relevant Nursing qualification, and demonstrate a compassionate, caring attitude with professional knowledge and experience.
