Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Associate passionate about delivering safe, high-quality care to children and their families in the community. This vacancy is within our Children's Community Nursing team, where you'll develop skills in medication and enteral feed administration, wound management, and gastrostomy care, playing a key role in providing high-quality patient care in the community.

Main Duties

The Children’s Community Specialist Nursing team offers a range of services, including support to primary healthcare colleagues, hospital teams, care within patients’ homes, care coordination, and post-diagnosis and post-bereavement support to families, children, and young people with diverse conditions. These range from children needing short-term acute interventions to those with complex healthcare needs, including palliative and terminal care.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care to children and support to their families on the caseload.
