Job Overview

Our client is seeking qualified staff nurses (RNs) for their nursing homes. The ideal candidates will report to the team leader and have experience working with elderly people in a nursing home environment.

Please note that we have a policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders, as per the Access NI Code of Practice. We also have a policy on the secure handling, use, storage, and retention of disclosure information.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and conditions, maintaining high clinical competence.
  • Ensure appropriate individual care is given to residents, according to their care plans.
  • Deliver the highest standards of care possible to residents.
  • Maintain accurate drug records and administer medication.
  • Report and document accidents, providing professional nursing care in accordance with RQIA requirements.
  • Maintain and update accurate individualized care plans for residents.
  • Work as part of a team, maintaining good communication with residents, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Be flexible in shift patterns and undertake other duties as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nursing Qualification (RN)
  • 2 years' experience working with elderly people in a nursing home environment
