Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse who holds a Professional Nursing qualification e.g. RMN/RNMH/RNLD to join the MDT on Ward 31a, Specialist Eating Disorder Unit.

The ward provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals who suffer from eating disorders and is part of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.

The service is for men and women aged 18 and over living in the North East and North Cumbria.

Main duties of the job

Act as a Primary/Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, and needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred, evidence based nursing care.

Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users.

Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.

Contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes
