An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our existing dedicated friendly team of staff within the Ophthalmic Department. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to be part of the ophthalmic team in The Royal Stoke Hospital Ophthalmology clinic / cataract suite and Ophthalmology Outpatients at the County Hospital Site in Stafford which are part of the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.
We are looking for someone who has experience working within the outpatient clinic setting or is willing to take part in further training. Previous experience in Ophthalmology would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Working in a friendly modern environment you will be responsible for the assessment and planning of care needs for Ophthalmic patients. Within the Eye Department we can provide internal rotation through the following based upon previous experience:
