Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Staff Nurse based at Brooksby Day Hospital.

What you will do

As a Staff Nurse District Nursing within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership you will assess client care needs and develop, implement and evaluate nursing care programmes for a variety of community client groups.

You will be responsible for managing the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse, including supervising and redeploying staff.

Knowledge, training and experience required to do the job
  • Professional qualification in nursing – essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative in a variety of client settings.
  • Evidence of personal development and willingness to undertake relevant training.
Hours and Shift Pattern

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership

A UK car driver/driving licence is essential for this role.
