A prominent healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced nurse for their Out of Hours Urgent Community Response team. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes across Pennine Lancashire. Candidates must possess a professional qualification as RGN and a full UK driving licence. The Out of Hours Urgent Community Response (OOH UCR) team provides urgent community nursing across Pennine Lancashire (East Lancashire & Blackburn with Darwen) overnight, combining services previously delivered by District Nursing and Intensive Home Support. The post holder will contribute a high level of skilled nursing care in patients 0homes, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, to support our 24-hour nursing service. The team operates across Burnley General Hospital and St Ives House, Blackburn. The role requires professional practice in line with the NMC Code and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care. Initial training will occur during the day to enable effective night-shift work.
We are seeking nurses with a commitment to evidence-based care and a strong desire to build a career in Community Nursing. A 12-month post-reg may be desirable. A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential. The post holder will assist the Clinical Team Leader/Team Sister in coordinating and delivering care in line with national and local guidance.
