Job Opportunity: Staff Nurse at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to work at our Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. Our team aims to help patients achieve their goals, treating individuals aged 16 and above with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. We prioritize safety, happiness, and empowerment for our residents.

Working Hours

Flexible, 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team, developing care plans and conducting assessments.
  • Assess and manage risks with other health professionals.
  • Review and modify care plans as needed.
  • Act as the primary nurse during inpatient stays where applicable.
  • Ensure clinical practice aligns with guidelines (NICE, NMC) and organizational policies.
  • Undertake clinical supervision and professional development.
  • Mentor/support students, support workers, and healthcare assistants.
  • Supervise junior staff in care plan implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with carers, relatives, and the care team to provide seamless service.
  • Maintain and update professional knowledge and skills, participate in training.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies to ensure safe working practices.
  • Protect vulnerable adults/children and act as a Patient Advocate.
Qualifications
  • Current NMC registration (RN, RMN, RNLD).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
