An established healthcare provider seeks a dedicated midwife to join their team in the scenic Scottish Highlands. Raigmore Hospital provides midwifery, obstetric and neonatal care to pregnant women and their families living in the Scottish Highlands. It covers a wide rural area of 12500 square miles and has approx 1800 births a year.
The post holder will be a rotational midwife within the Unit including; Triage, Day Assessment Unit, Antenatal Clinics, Antenatal inpatient ward, intrapartum, Postnatal and High dependency area.
The successful candidate must be flexible in their approach, be a good team player and have excellent time management skills. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates need to be eligible to apply for a B6 post and completed Flying Start programme.
The city of Inverness is on Scotland’s North East coast; it is the largest city in the Scottish Highlands and has excellent road and rail links with Inverness airport having direct rail links to it. Inverness attracts visitors from all over the world. There are many beauty spots perfect for wild swimming, walks, mountain biking, and hill walking for outdoor enthusiasts. The Highlands offer the perfect work/life balance.
