Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Staff Mess Assistant (family friendly hours) to join our team at HMP Millsike, Full Sutton, York, YO41 1FZ.

You will be responsible for managing the shift, motivating the team, and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities include training staff, assisting the Manager with managerial tasks, stocktaking, and supervisory duties.

Eligibility: Due to sector requirements, applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years, possess a legal right to work, and pass security vetting and DBS checks.

• Full-time, 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 07:30-14:00, with a pay rate of £12.50/hour.

A typical day:

• Motivate the team and ensure high-quality service.

• Provide menu explanations and training to new staff.

Ideal candidate:

• Must have resided in the UK for 5+ years and have the right to work.
• Able to pass security and DBS checks.
• Confident leader with supervisory experience preferred but full training provided.
