Staff Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Join to apply for the Staff Information System Security Officer (ISSO) role at ARA.

This position offers an exciting opportunity within our Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance division. You will act as the ISSO and have opportunities for career growth in a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and cross-training across disciplines.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for system accreditation, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring. Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and reviewing security accreditation artifacts and test plans.
  2. Applying knowledge of systems and network engineering procedures related to cybersecurity and infrastructure.
  3. Deep understanding of vulnerability management and continuous monitoring.

Position Requirements
  • Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • AS degree in Cyber Security, IT Management, or related field with 9-11 years of experience, OR BS with 8-10 years, OR MS with 6-8 years.
  • Knowledge of DoD RMF and security documentation for authority to operate.
  • Experience with IAVM/STIG updates, PPSM, and firewall change requests.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DoD accreditation processes and system compliance.
  • Familiarity with security architecture and accreditation tools like XACTA 360 or eMASS.
