Qorvo, Inc in Reading, UK is seeking an experienced RF/Analog/Microwave IC layout engineer to drive floor planning, tape-out readiness and interface with design, foundry and manufacturing to deliver highly integrated RF blocks.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, a background in RF/microwave engineering, CMOS/SOI processes, and proficiency with Cadence CAD tools.
Layout of RF, Analogue and microwave integrated circuits for the mobile communications market.
Floor planning and concept realization of highly integrated RF circuits.
Top Level and block level layout designs including circuit and layout verification checks (LVS, DRC).
Full RF and Analogue layout design and layout size optimization of CMOS and SOI.
Design and layout of laminate layers, interfacing silicon with package.
Interface and cooperation with RF IC design engineers.
Responsibility for tape out process, data documentation and data archiving.
Independent interface with design engineering, foundry and manufacturing.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent amount of advanced education and experience.
Background in RF/Microwave engineering and experience with integrated RF circuit layouts.
Understanding of semiconductor process technologies such as CMOS and SOI.
Experience with Cadence CAD tools.
Outstanding Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
