Owen Thomas | B Corp™ is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer (Contract) to lead end-to-end development across Rust/Java backends and React/Python frontends. This fully remote UK-based role offers £500–600/day outside IR35 for a 12-month engagement in a fast-scaling, product-led environment.

You'll own features, influence architecture, and collaborate across platform teams while adopting AI-assisted development practices to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior or Staff-level Full Stack / Backend Engineer with production experience.
• Strong backend in Rust and/or Java, with exposure to both.
• Front-end experience with React; Python for backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise scalable backend services using Rust and Java.
• Build high-performance, reliable systems focusing on scalability and clean architecture.
• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using React and Python-backed APIs.
