Job summary

Legl in London is building an AI-first operating system for modern legal services. We are seeking a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to own product delivery across the stack from design through production, with real ownership from day one.

You will ship product, define patterns, reduce toil, and keep production healthy as part of a lean, senior engineering team. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for quality, safety and trust.

Qualifications

• Front-to-back engineering capability across the stack.
• Ability to design patterns and abstractions for scalable systems.
• Comfort fixing root causes and reducing toil across production systems.

Responsibilities

• Work across the whole stack, selecting the right layer to solve a problem.
• Design patterns and abstractions to make future work cheaper and safer.
• Trace root causes of recurring issues and fix the underlying problems.
• Maintain production health by addressing noisy or failing systems.
• Contribute to deployment pipelines and CI/CD improvements.
• Apply AI/automation judiciously to speed up delivery without compromising quality.
• Own outcomes end to end and clearly surface trade-offs for ownership.
