Staff Engineer, Test Engineering

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement test solutions at package and/or wafer level for new products on the Advantest V93000 test platform, including both software and hardware;
2. Work with a cross-functional product team to assess and evaluate new designs and provide feedback based on ATE test results;
3. Participate in new product design meetings and work with senior test engineers to drive analog and digital DFT techniques into new devices;
4. Collaborate with the Product Engineering to complete ATE characterization to ensure the robustness of IC designs and test solutions;
5. Support product qualification by developing reliability screening solutions to evaluate device performance during life testing;
6. Deploy the solutions to our far-shore OSATs and support the ramp-up to full production;
7. Hold periodic test review meetings with project teams;
8. Optimize existing test solutions to improve yield and/or test time and drive continuous margin improvement;
9. Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with design, product, validation, test and applications engineers;
10. Work to aggressive project timelines;
11. Multitask with multiple projects in different lifecycle phases;
12. Engage with outside hardware vendors to ensure test hardware is ready to meet project schedules;
13. Deliver high quality test results in line with quality management standards;
14. Produce concise, accurate and timely project reports and updates (written and oral).

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline;
2. 3-5 years experience in ATE semiconductor testing; V93000 experience preferred;
3. Experience in bring-up and support of solutions in offshore test locations;
4. Experience in testing high-speed, mixed signal ICs;
5. Understanding of high-speed PCB design concepts and experience in schematic design.
