Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Engineer to join our expanding Mobile Engineering team. In this leadership role, you'll apply your strong technical expertise to contribute directly to the team's work, and also guide and mentor fellow engineers to drive successful outcomes. You'll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our application design, while identifying opportunities to align and standardise practices across teams—ensuring we deliver high-quality, high-value software to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

1. Championing best practices across engineering teams, promoting scalable solutions that enhance customer outcomes.
2. Serving as a Technical Authority, transforming complex requirements into maintainable software, collaborating with Solutions Architects.
3. Shaping the strategy for managing technical debt, maintaining secure, resilient systems aligned with company goals.
4. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing team effectiveness and satisfaction.
5. Building an inclusive environment, mentoring less experienced engineers, and promoting teamwork.
6. Leading the Developer Community, upholding standards that meet security, compliance, and quality requirements.

Qualifications: Who we're looking for:

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep React knowledge.
• Experience in building RESTful microservices with Spring or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM, Flux.
• Knowledge of clean code and architectural principles such as SOLID, Onion, Hexagonal, n-Tier.
• Hands-on experience with React Native on large-scale projects.
• Familiar with GraphQL, AWS, Docker.
• Understanding of security best practices across platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization.
