Job summary

Ripjar is seeking a Staff Engineer to join its Labyrinth Screening SaaS team. You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate across engineering and product domains, and help scale the platform for global customers.

The role emphasizes technical breadth, leadership, and delivering scalable software in cloud and on-prem environments. Remote-first with a UK-wide hiring footprint, Cheltenham head office optional, competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits aligned with a fast-growing

Qualifications

Broad, deep software design and production deployment experience.
Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and grow engineering teams.
Excellent written and spoken communication for diverse audiences.
Track record in designing scalable SaaS architectures.

Responsibilities

Own the software design and technology for a Labyrinth Screening area.
Collaborate with engineering teams, product leaders and customers to deliver high-quality software.
Embed engineering principles into decision-making and roadmaps.
Lead Labyrinth Screening’s engineering organisation, establishing standards and patterns.
Scale the SaaS platform to handle more customers, data feeds and users.
