Job summary

Callosum in London is building an advanced AI infrastructure with LL-guided search that evolves programs across models, software, and hardware. The team focuses on scalable, verifiable optimisation for diverse workloads and accelerators.

If you thrive in uncharted territory and enjoy building systems, we want to hear from you. You will own Callosum’s program evolution loop, develop search strategies and benchmarks, and deliver reusable internal tooling to enable others to scale to new problems

Qualifications

• Proven fundamentals in optimisation and search methods.
• Ability to reason about exploration vs exploitation and diversity in search.
• Strong engineering instincts to turn experimental systems into reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop the core program evolution loop for LL-guided optimisation.
• Design search strategies balancing exploration, exploitation, diversity and sample efficiency.
• Build continuous benchmarks to measure optimiser performance across workloads.
• Turn the system into reusable internal infrastructure scalable to new problems.
