About the Role

The Edinburgh team is seeking a Staff Design Verification Engineer to join its talented group located in the city center of Edinburgh. The team works on high-value audio solutions for consumer markets, collaborating with leading companies and focusing on innovative verification methodologies.

Responsibilities

  1. Complete verification ownership including testbench architecture, development, and coverage closure.
  2. Verify key digital IP blocks in mixed-signal devices for consumer applications.
  3. Debug and articulate gating issues effectively.
  4. Integrate block-level testbenches at SoC top-level and verify proper integration.
  5. Utilize industry-standard methodologies like UVM and constrained random.
  6. Explore and deploy techniques to improve coverage and reduce verification time.
  7. Participate in post-silicon activities such as silicon bring-up and evaluation support.
  8. Improve verification methodologies aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering with 5-8 years of experience in digital design and verification.
  • Experience with UVM-based testbench infrastructure, coverage analysis, and assertions.
  • Strong knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Makefile.
  • Experience with IP and SoC level verification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AHB/AXI/APB protocols.
  • Experience with power-aware simulations or formal verification.
  • Experience with Audio IP and SoC verification.
  • Understanding of DSP concepts.
  • Passion for Audio technology.
