Job description

Job Title: Staff/Principal/Lead Engineer

Location: South of Croydon (2 days on site, hybrid)

Salary Range: Circa £110k + 30% bonus

What you will be doing:

Working across several teams, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Architect to assist the business in transitioning to a full SaaS/PaaS cloud-native solution. The role requires the ability to translate high-level designs and orchestrate microservices at scale. Clear communication of solutions and motivating a talented engineering team are essential. While an agnostic approach is encouraged, experience within the Microsoft ecosystem and familiarity with the following tools are crucial:

  • C#
  • API Design and Development (REST)
  • Event-driven architecture/Microservices at Scale
  • Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and software engineers at various levels

Interview Process:

Three stages: initial exploratory call with Lead Architect, followed by a technical test and discussion with the wider team (preferably face-to-face), and concluding with an informal face-to-face meeting with the team. The process typically takes about 2-3 weeks.
