Responsibilities

• Define the architecture and patterns for the absence management systems.
• Find the simplest robust solution to complex domain and regulatory challenges.
• Lead long-running technical efforts that span team boundaries.
• Model regulatory complexity cleanly in the system architecture.
• Ensure accurate absence data feeds into pay calculations.
• Set the standard for how services are deployed and maintained.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar across teams.
