Job summary

TE Connectivity's Corporate Technology R&D team is seeking a Staff Electronics Design Engineer to lead hardware development across the full lifecycle, from concept to production. You will design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits, create schematics and PCBs, and drive verification, validation and compliance testing.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with software, mechanical and product teams, and contribute to design reviews, risk assessments and technical documentation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related discipline.
• Strong analogue, digital and mixed-signal design expertise.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design; Altium preferred.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI, signal integrity, DFM/DFT and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electronic hardware for R&D and product projects.
• Define architectures and select components to meet requirements.
• Develop concepts via feasibility studies, prototyping and testing.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts; ensure EMC and manufacturability.
• Plan verification, validation and compliance testing; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and product teams.
• Contribute to design reviews, risk analyses and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
