Job summary

Marshmallow is seeking a Staff Data Scientist in London to provide technical leadership across Claims data science, build production ML and Generative AI systems, and shape end-to-end decisioning. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations to deliver scalable, robust models that improve claims automation and customer outcomes.

• End-to-end ML delivery experience from framing to production monitoring.
• Hands-on Generative AI in production with safety considerations.
• Influence technical direction across Data Science and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data science across Claims.
• Develop production ML and Generative AI/LLM systems.
• Collaborate with Claims DS to scale decisioning.
• Advocate for robust platform investments (monitoring, QA).
• Set rigorous statistical measurement and uncertainty communication.
