Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is hiring a Staff Data Engineer in Greater London to own the data platform architecture and set engineering standards. The role focuses on scalable data pipelines, governance and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

You’ll shape long-term data strategy, mentor teams, and contribute to data, analytics and AI capabilities across the business.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Staff Data Engineer, Principal Data Engineer or Lead Data Engineer.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with streaming technologies and modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and containerised environments.
• Ability to influence engineering direction without direct authority.

Responsabilidades

We're partnering with a high-growth technology business looking to hire a Staff Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in defining the future of their data platform.

This is a genuine Staff Data Engineer opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges at scale, influencing technical direction and driving best practice across engineering teams.

As a Staff Data Engineer, you'll take ownership of platform architecture, establish engineering standards and help shape the long-term data strategy. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and engineering leadership to ensure the platform can support growing data, analytics and AI capabilities.
