Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Staff Cloud Native Software Engineer to build and operate Kubernetes-native software that connects AI applications with core networking components on GPU-backed infrastructure.

You will extend control plane capabilities, own significant components end-to-end, and raise reliability and observability across platforms. Strong Go skills and hands-on Kubernetes internals are essential for collaboration with platform teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production software development experience.
• Deep Kubernetes-native software experience with controllers/operators/CRDs.
• Strong Go language proficiency and production-grade coding.
• Experience with observability: metrics, tracing, logging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-native software that connects AI apps with networking components on GPU-backed infrastructure.
• Extend Kubernetes control plane capabilities to support AI workloads.
• Own components end-to-end and set technical direction.
• Develop tooling to automate deployment, observability, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in controller-runtime patterns.
