Staff Clinician/Lecturer in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging (CET)

We invite applications for a Staff Clinician/Lecturer in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in the Department of Clinical Science and Services at the Royal Veterinary College. The role is based at the Hawkshead Campus, near London, within the large team of specialists at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.

This position suits those who enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive environment with flexible and family-friendly working patterns. We welcome both newly trained specialists seeking to consolidate their skills and experienced specialists interested in teaching and work-life balance.

You will participate actively in clinical duties, ensuring high standards of patient care, and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including seminars and supervision of postgraduate students.

The section is equipped with advanced imaging technology, including 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners, a state-of-the-art CT scanner, high-end ultrasound, digital radiography, and fluoroscopy. A gamma camera is also available at the Equine Diagnostic Centre, primarily for small animal work.

Candidates should have a RCVS-registrable veterinary degree and be eligible for or hold a postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
