Job summary

The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle in Scotland is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to join the Schoolroom Canteen. You’ll prepare a daily selection of hot meals, soups, sandwiches and salads and help plan menus for a diverse workforce.

Working with the wider kitchen brigade, you’ll maintain high standards of food hygiene, support dietary needs, minimise waste and contribute creative ideas. The role offers £31,200 per year, pension and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or catering operation.
• Passion for fresh, home-cooked food.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Proactive and flexible team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily hot meals, soups, sandwiches and salads.
• Plan varied menus for a diverse workforce.
