Job summary

Job description

The post holder will support the effective implementation and management of the Salary Sacrifice Schemes across NHS Wales by providing a high-quality professional service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Promoting and maintaining effective working relationships with the salary sacrifice company and NHS Organisation contacts.
  2. Analyzing queries regarding VAT, payroll deduction, individual staff calculations, and NHS Fleet Solutions schedules.
  3. Liaising with the Health Board’s Payroll Department to query relevant salary/financial information.
  4. Completing calculations regarding financial queries related to salary sacrifice, verifying financial information before processing applications.
  5. Communicating information about the financial and personal implications of the salary sacrifice scheme to staff, ensuring understanding.
  6. Communicating complex tax and financial information effectively to staff.
