Job summary

Ki is seeking a Staff Algorithm Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of algorithmic models powering the Ki platform. You will drive the technical development of ML systems, research advanced techniques, and collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and underwriters to integrate models into production.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in CS/ML/Math or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and deploying large ML models in production.
• Strong Python and ML library experience (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
• Cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) knowledge.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and set best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade ML and statistical models for underwriting.
• Architect robust data pipelines and infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Underwriters to integrate models into core platform.
