Qualifications

About the role

Focused on Financial recordkeeping? Your next role will ensure the records are accurate from expenses to revenue. We’re on the lookout for a motivated Staff Accountant who can help us with our general ledger management while enhancing our financial reporting and tax compliance. Based in our new Irvine office you will be responsible for a part in our organizations financial management.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Finance Organization, you’ll help to assist in preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, monthly close packages, and monthly/annual reporting. All areas of the finance organization will rely on you for the timely processing of invoices and ensuring proper coding of PO’s. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:

  • Assist with processing vendor invoices & employee travel expense reports
  • Review POs, invoices, bills, vouchers, or other documents for accuracy, completeness, and corrections
  • Entering newly executed AR and AP leases into the accounting system
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assists in the reconciliation of various general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and analyze the monthly AR Aging report
  • Compile the monthly close package and assist with producing monthly financial statements
  • Assist with the monthly CAM entries as well as the preparation of the quarterly & annual CAM reconciliations
  • Provide supporting documentation for our annual audits

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from accredited university, with a minimum of two years professional experience
  • Experience working in real estate, technology, and/or manufacturing is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, mathematical problem resolution, and organizational skills with acute attention to detail
  • Experience with JD Edwaards or Workday Finance is a plus
