Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a professional Class 2 / 18 Tonne Driver for the Bicester area. You will be the face of the brand, handling multi-drop collections and deliveries with a focus on time-sensitive schedules and customer experience.

You'll use Saturn handheld devices and route planning software, driving an 18T vehicle. The role offers a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay at £16.35 per hour plus enhanced overtime and a pathway for progression.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence, DQC/CPC accreditation, and a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 1 year experience handling Class 2 or equivalent vehicles.
• Can-do flexible attitude with focus on customer experience.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the local area and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• The Route: Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area, meeting time-sensitive schedules.
• The Standards: Maintain high professionalism while meeting time-critical deadlines and following road laws and company policies.
• The Tech: Use Saturn handheld devices and route planning software to keep operations moving smoothly.
• The Vehicle: Take pride in your 18T vehicle, ensuring it is safe, roadworthy, and presentable.
• The Team: Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure every parcel reaches its home.
