Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Stability Lead to drive the Stability function within Quality Control. You will design and manage stability studies, ensure proper storage, and deliver reporting in line with GMP and regulatory requirements. A leadership role focused on quality and continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in stability programmes, strong technical chemistry knowledge, and the ability to mentor a team while coordinating with QC and client needs. On-site opportunity in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Must have GMP knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical quality control environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in a laboratory or technical setting with team development.
• Experience with stability programmes, including protocol design, storage, and sampling schedules.
• Strong technical understanding of chemistry and chromatography systems to review data.
• Proficiency in analytical method development, data review and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Champion health and safety policies and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support Head of QC in maintaining quality and regulatory compliance (GMP).
• Lead stability team with training, coaching and mentorship.
• Author/review stability protocols and study designs per client and regulatory guidance.
• Oversee stability storage, condition monitoring and sample management.
