Job summary

Active Centres is seeking Swimming Teachers for Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre. You will teach swimming, record learner achievements, and ensure lessons align with Circadian Trust procedures while maintaining a safe environment and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Holders of the STA Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching are preferred; Swim England Level 1 is not accepted. Training and career development are provided; flexible working requests may be discussed with HR.

Qualifications

• Be a good communicator and have knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
• Take pride in your work, are always on time, organised and totally reliable.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to the required program and keep records of learners' achievements.
• Ensure lessons are set up and cleared away in line with Circadian Trust procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment at all times following health and safety guidance.
• Support environmental systems and promote healthy lifestyles.
