Job Description:

We are recruiting an ST4/ST5 SCF in A&E on a 12 month NHS Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for a flagship University Hospital in the Midlands.

Our client is a well run and good performing NHS Trust with excellent leadership and support.

The appointee will be provided full support through competencies to develop portfolio evidence to meet their set objectives and will work under the clinical direction of the EM Consultants who are present in the department 24/7. All Fellows have a monthly teaching day along with educational development time reflected in their rota and will be allocated an Educational and Clinical Supervisor.

Our client will consider individuals with:
- MRCEM
- At least 6 months NHS experience
- Current ALS and ATLS

Basic pay will be £55,329 per annum and there would be enhancements for hours worked over 40 and weekends/night based on the actual rota line the appointee works. Once added, it usually brings the salary between £71,000-£76,000 per annum.

Our client is a Major Trauma Centre for the region, the department has 24 hour Consultant cover and recent workforce investment will support an increase across the entirety of their clinical establishment. They have 9 Resuscitation Areas including three adult major trauma bays and the Majors Area has 30 monitoring bays.
