About the Company

Our client is a leading independent real estate asset management and development management business with a long-standing track record in large, dominant assets in the retail sector. With extensive experience ranging from full development to the asset management of some of the UK’s best known shopping centres, our client is a market leader.

About the Role

Due to rapid growth in recent years including some new, very prominent projects, our client is now seeking an analytical surveyor to join their investment management team in a role that will include the buying and selling of centres.

Responsibilities

1. Appraisal of potential acquisitions and assistance with investment due diligence.
2. Assisting with asset disposals.
3. Periodic reporting for existing shopping centres.
4. Financial analysis to determine the viability of asset management initiatives (such as refurbishment or redevelopment).
5. The production of recommendation papers.

Candidate Requirements

1. Degree educated RICS qualified Surveyor (essential).
2. 2 - 4 years post qualified experience with exposure to the retail sector as a minimum requirement, but ideally shopping centre experience.
3. Financially literate with strong excel skills (essential) and the ability to use and put data into existing models.
4. Strong property software skills.

Remuneration

This role has a competitive basic salary which is expected to be in the range of £50,000 to c. £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
