What will you do?

You will act as a trusted partner to the SRT trading desk, taking ownership of key deliverables and driving meaningful change. Your responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a Product Owner: Represent the SRT trading desk in forums and initiatives, ensuring their needs are prioritized and addressed effectively.
  • Streamlining Processes: Enhance and optimize start-of-day, end-of-day, and intraday processes to improve risk management and P&L tracking.
  • Designing and Implementing Tools: Develop innovative business processes and tools that empower trading and sales teams to operate more efficiently.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Proactively uncover areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance processes and tools.
  • Driving Strategic Deliverables: Coordinate planning, testing, and implementation of high-impact initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
What do you need to succeed?

We’re seeking candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • Educational Background: Degree in a numerate discipline such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computing.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of vanilla interest rate derivatives (including inflation), FX, and cash products, with expertise in trading, pricing, and risk management.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in interest rate derivatives trading and risk management environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA to develop tools supporting trading and risk management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent skills to coordinate and drive change across multiple teams including Trading, Sales, Structuring, Quants, IT, GRM, and Finance.

While not essential, the following will set you apart:

  • Advanced Education: Postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Structured Product Expertise: Familiarity with structured interest rate derivatives products.
  • Technical Experience: Experience with Front Office development software, especially Python.
